The goal of this project was to build a centralized online hub for a diverse community network that serves multiple groups, events, and initiatives. The community needed a digital space where members could stay informed, get involved, and access local resources. Their existing communication channels were scattered, and they needed a well-organized, visually appealing website to unify their efforts and expand outreach.
What We Did:
Custom WordPress Design & Development:
Designed a user-friendly and visually welcoming WordPress website tailored to reflect the inclusive, community-driven mission. The homepage was structured to highlight key areas like news, upcoming events, community programs, and recent announcements.
Content Strategy & Page Architecture:
Organized the site into clear, easy-to-navigate sections, including About Us, Event Calendar, Donate, and Contact. Developed content layouts that supported both casual visitors and returning community members.
Event Promotion Tools:
Integrated an interactive calendar plugin to feature recurring and seasonal events such as summer and fall programs, town halls, and workshops. Each event page included location info and sharing tools.
Donation Portal:
Set up a secure donation system to allow one-time and recurring contributions, complete with custom thank-you messages and donation tracking.
Flyer & Media Uploads:
Created a space for digital event flyers and downloadable PDFs to help the community promote and share local activities easily—especially useful for schools, youth programs, and volunteer drives.
Mobile Optimization:
Ensured the site was fully responsive and optimized for mobile users, considering that many community members would access the site from phones or tablets.
